Testimonial - Kevin

Hey Jim,

I just wanted to thank you for what you are doing to preserve and advance principled chiropractic. I have been heading up a monthly philosophy club here in Montana for the last year and even that is a little bit of work. So I can only imagine the effort you must put forth for New Beginnings, so thank you.

I joined the Inner Circle at the Oct. N.B. because I knew that I had come back to my chiropractic family and had do do everything possible to support you and the movement. I spent the weekend hanging out with Bob Tarintino, Sam, Tony, B.J. and Mike LaRocca. And I don't know if I have ever been around such a great group of guys. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, as did yourself and many others. And the one characteristic that they all displayed, and just oozed from everyone I met was loyalty. And to me there is nothing more important than loyalty. And as I get to meet more the the people at N.B. I am sure I will find the same qualities.

It feels great knowing that there are others who love chiropractic like I do and have a passion for and are loyal to the principle of chiropractic.

I thought you may be interested in hearing how I got to N.B. since you don't really know me. I went to school at Northwestern, when the word chiropractic was in the name of the school although it wasn't taught in the school. During my first trimester Reggie Gold spoke. I had no idea who this guy was and I didn't feel like going home for lunch so I thought I would kill some time and check it out. Well, to say the least it was life changing. I know now that this was nothing new for Reggie, but I was amazed at how the teachers were attacking him and he was never phased because he was so grounded in the philosophy. I was truly a bunch of mental midgets debating a genius. After hearing him speak I was totally dedicated to being a real chiropractor in the mold of Reggie. I went to anything I could get to that was based in principled chiropractic.

A chiropractor I knew suggested I go to a Charlie Ward seminar, so I did. And the best part of it was this guy who did a section about philosophy, it was Eddie Cohen. So afterwards I approached him and I asked him if he would come to our school and give a presentation, I was the president of the Gonstead club and while I was president I used the Gonstead club as a "front group" to bring in philosophical speakers. He agreed and at the seminar to promoted N.B. and said we all had to go, so we did. Myself and I think 4-5 others came out, in 99'. It felt like I died and had gone to chiropractic heaven. To have so many loving, caring principled chiropractors under one roof was amazing.

So at the end of chiro school I asked Eddie if I could come out and do my externship with him, he said yes but didn't have a place for me to stay so he referred my to Peter and Patti. This always amazed me, that some student calls them basically out of the blue and in other words asks, can I sleep at your place, eat your food and follow you around in you business for 2 and 1/2 months and without hesitation they say yes. I have come to learn, and I try to uphold, that principled chiros are some of the most generous and caring people you will ever meet. So they took me under my wing and my office today is Westood Family chiropractic but just a few thousand miles west in Kalispell, Montana. In ten years of service I have stayed 100% loyal to the principle of chiropractic and nothing but chiropractic adjustments to turn on life has been done in my office and its the only thing that will ever be done. So that's it in a nutshell.

Mainly I just wanted to tell you thank you and that I love and appreciate you and what you are doing. I am proud to be an inner circle member and know that I will be loyal to you, N.B. and the principle of chiropractic forever. If there is ever anything I can do to help, if you need a speaker or anything else I am here for you. I will see you in April, I am going on a Disney Cruise with the family the week after the next N.B. I have the next two already in the schedule book.

Love Kevin
